Workingdesign is a small collaborative design partnership which has recently relocated to So. Egremont, Massachusetts from Bloomington, Indiana. Robert Fakelmann, AIA and Alexis Wreden, MLA offer architectural and landscape design services which focus on small-scale eco-friendly projects. We provide a full range of services from on-site design consultation and advice through comprehensive design development including the production of construction documents. We represent our clients’ interests through the bidding and construction phases of their projects in order to assure that all work is conducted according to the plans and specifications.
We combine the best of hand drawing technique with state of the art Building Information Modeling (Vectorworks BIM software) to produce accurate 3D computer models that effectively communicate all aspects and stages of a design.
We think of ourselves as a design assistance firm. We guide our clients through all phases of their project and personalize our expertise to suit their needs. We believe that no project is too small and that every client is special and equally important. We offer our services to homeowners seeking to renovate an existing residence or wishing to build a new home from the ground up, to home buyers and sellers whose purchase or sale may be contingent upon the feasibility of a renovation or addition, and to contractors who may require design services or need accurate CAD documents for construction.
